ECM’s Mechanika V Slim is a compact and modern take on heat exchange espresso machines with a host of cosmetic and mechanical improvements over its previous iteration.
The powerful and compact ECM Mechanika V Slim Espresso Machine is the perfect choice for smaller kitchens – or a narrow side table in a modern dining room. The unmistakable ECM design impresses with its highly polished stainless steel housing and the retro, red accented rotary valves. The technical specs on this machine are in a class of their own. The heat exchanger boiler and vibration pump allow for simultaneous preparation of espresso and frothed milk – just like in a real cafe.
Features and Performance
The new stainless steel boiler has a slightly increased capacity of 2.2L and features thermal insulation for greater energy efficiency. The redesigned interior of the machine also resulted in an update to the OPV which is now accessible from the top of the machine and located underneath the reservoir lid.
As a heat-exchanger machine, you’ll need to pay attention to temperature and perform a cooling flush every once in a while if the ECM Mechanika V Slim has been on for some time. However, the dual pressure gauges, custom ECM E61 group, and adjustable OPV make for a respectable prosumer espresso machine that can fit in the tightest of spaces.
